Overview
As sustainability moves beyond disclosure and compliance, the key question for many organizations is no longer whether to act, but how to translate action into measurable business value. This workshop, “The ROI of Sustainability,” will explore how sustainability creates resilience, strengthens competitiveness, and supports long-term returns when it is embedded across the business rather than managed as a standalone agenda.
Designed as a highly interactive two-hour session, participants will work together in small groups to examine sustainability ROI through three critical lenses: investors and capital generation, corporate decision-makers, and employees. The discussion will be grounded in the idea that resilience is built through connected decisions across functions, business units, and levels of the organization.
Each segment will begin with a five-minute framing introduction from S&P Global, followed by facilitated group discussion and a report-back to the full room to share key insights and practical takeaways. Participants will explore how linking sustainability to business strategy can improve alignment, strengthen governance, enhance data readiness, and create a common language across finance, operations, procurement, risk, and leadership teams.
This intimate session is designed for leaders looking to move beyond viewing sustainability as a reporting exercise and toward understanding it as a strategic driver of resilience, decision quality, and business performance.
