Join a group of our experts on May 22 in New York as we assess the impact of Trump’s first 100 days in office. Since becoming president in January, President Trump has moved with lightning speed to push forward with major policies on immigration, energy, trade and foreign relations. He has done so with extensive use of executive orders, many of which are being challenged in US courts. While there remains some room for bilateral negotiations, potential concessions and subsequent adjustments, the proliferation of tariffs in particular and related uncertainties raise the risk of a global hard landing. 

Our in-person half-day event will present our latest view on the global economic outlook with a panel assessing the impact of the Trump Administration’s First 100 Days on markets, geopolitics, trade relations and supply chains. A second panel will focus on strategic opportunities in Latin America looking at trade disruptions, impacts and realignments with focus on Brazil and Mexico. The last panel will examine the risks to the banking sector in the US and Emerging markets in an environment of high for longer interests rates.
