We’re convening a briefing session with our supply network intelligence analysts to discuss the state and future for AI in supply chains, including the roll-out of AI infrastructure, the criteria for successful development and delivering in uncrewed weapons systems. We’ll also examine the current interplay between supply chains and conflict.
Please join us for a Breakfast Briefing as our experts from S&P Global Market Intelligence share insights into how to:
- Based on forthcoming research, we’ll examine the drivers of demand for AI components, including datacenters and device grade systems as well as examining the supply chains across processors, memory, components and materials including availability and pricing. We’ll also consider the risks to delivery of the AI boom including practical, financial and geopolitical factors.
- The boom in AI investment is contingent on the need for its capabilities. We examine the uses for AI in procurement, planning and analytics, including factors for success and examples of where S&P Global is leading innovation in the AI-driven decision-making space.
- The additional costs and shortages resulting from the AI boom is showing up in aerospace and defense supply chains. We’ll examine how surging costs for memory, copper, electrical steel is affecting bills of materials in the sector including our forecasts for materials and components.
- The growth in spending on defense is driving labor sector imbalances across sectors ranging from shipbuilding and aircraft to construction. We’ll detail our forecasts for the sector including key drivers and labor rate expectations.
- Bringing it all together, the defense and AI sector supply chains are tied together in uncrewed weapons systems, but electronics supply chains still run through Asia. We’ll use our proprietary supply network tools to examine the current state of drone supply chains and how future success can be achieved by leverage our Attribute-Behavior-Collateral approach to supply chain risk management.
