2026 Reefer Review and Outlook: A TPM Cold Chain Webcast

Refrigerated shipping volumes globally may be expanding at a steady, mid-single-digit pace, but getting reefer containers from Point A to Point B is only becoming more challenging. US tariff-driven capacity pressures, historic port congestion in Asia, and global ocean schedule reliability below 50% are adding complexity. In North America, north-south trades continue to drive stronger refrigerated volume growth than east-west trades, while a widening import-export imbalance creates further operational challenges. 

As a preview of the TPM Cold Chain track, this webcast will examine the outlook for major reefer trades in 2027 and highlight the key challenges facing shippers and transportation providers alike.
